Eric Goldberg Represents Atlas Capital Group in Acquisition of The Denizen in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Firm News

The Commercial Observer reported on Olshan client Atlas Capital Group’s acquisition of two buildings in Bushwick, Brooklyn located at 54 Noll Street and 123 Melrose Street, known as The Denizen and formerly the site of the Rheingold Brewery. The buildings offer more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor tenant amenity spaces, making it the most amenitized residence in New York City. The sale of these properties by All Year Holdings, which totaled $506 million, was complex in nature with numerous moving parts in that the transaction was subject to bankruptcy court approval and required the consent of several tiers of lenders, mezzanine and senior, some of whom were not being paid in full. The Olshan team was led by real estate partner Eric Goldberg with assistance from associate Yael Mandel and paralegal Vanessa Rodriguez.
