Olshan Announces Counsel Elevations

New York, December 16, 2025 – Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP is pleased to announce that Ian A. Engoron and Richard M. Quatrano have been elevated to counsel at the firm. Engoron works in the firm’s Shareholder Activism Practice, while Quatrano is based in the firm’s Corporate/Securities Group. The new positions are effective as of January 1, 2026.

Ian A. Engoron will be a counsel in the firm’s Shareholder Activism Practice, where he advises activist investors through high-stakes, fast-moving campaigns. His diligence, strategic clarity and understanding of the multifaceted considerations relevant to activist investors are evident as he has played a significant role in a wide range of successful engagements, spanning proxy contests, consent solicitations, settlement negotiations, withhold campaigns, private and public letter-writing efforts and discreet engagements with management teams and boards of directors. Engoron’s practice also includes advising on Schedule 13D and Section 16 filings, mergers and acquisitions, hostile takeovers, shareholder rights and corporate governance issues. Engoron received his J.D. from Fordham University, where he served as the symposium editor of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law, and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Richard M. Quatrano will be a counsel in the Corporate/Securities Law Practice and is well-versed in handling a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactional matters from inception to close for middle-market companies, startups and individuals from throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities and general commercial matters. Quatrano regularly represents clients in middle-market M&A transactions valued in the tens and hundreds of millions of dollars. He was named a “Rising Star” by New York Metro Super Lawyers and recognized as “One to Watch” in The Best Lawyers in America for Corporate/Securities Law. Quatrano received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as the online editor of the Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law, and a B.A. from Columbia University, Columbia College. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
