Roket Heads Up Retail Leasing for Turnstyle as Highlighted in Wall Street Journal

Firm News

The Wall Street Journal recently highlighted Turnstyle, the underground shopping corridor in the concourse of the Columbus Circle subway station, and developer Susan Fine, the principal of Columbus Development LLC. The Turnstyle project secured Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group as a joint-venture partner. Construction is set to begin in about a month and the retail concourse is scheduled to open by the end of 2015. The article goes on to mention that more than 75% of retail space is now committed and will feature 34 retailers catering to the estimated 88,000 people who pass through the subway station on a weekday. Olshan Real Estate Partner Nina Roket is the lead partner handling the leasing for the project. Assistance on the project is provided as follows: Eric Goldberg handled financing with Goldman Sachs; Alexander Ferrini is handling the construction contracts; and Dov Brandstatter is assisting with the retail leasing.

The Real Deal also reported on the Turnstyle underground project.
