Andrew Freedman Quoted by Bloomberg Law on the Activism Group’s Year in Review

Olshan’s Shareholder Activism co-chair, Andrew Freedman was quoted in Bloomberg Law regarding the 2020 review of the aforementioned group and what he expects to happen in 2021. According to the recent league tables released by Bloomberg, Olshan advised on 119 activist engagements in 2020 and the value of activist stakes were $14.8 billion which was unmatched by any other law firm. Although these numbers were slightly lower than in the previous year Mr. Freedman had nothing but a positive outlook on the upcoming year and commented, “There’s a little dip in 2020, but we fully expect 2021 to be as busy as ever.”
