Adam Friedman and Jonathan Koevary Co-Author Article in the Bankruptcy Strategist

The Bankruptcy Strategist, an ALM newsletter, published an article, “Ninth Circuit Ruling Eases Plan Acceptance Requirement In Multi-Debtor Plans of Reorganization” written by Olshan attorneys Adam Friedman, and Jonathan Koevary.  The article discussed the ramifications of the recent Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Transwest decision holding that where multiple debtors sought confirmation of a joint chapter 11 plan, the acceptance of an impaired class of creditors of just one of the debtors – and not at least one class of creditors of each debtor seeking confirmation – met the statutory acceptance requirements for confirmation of the joint plan.
