Alta Fox Reaches Agreement with Collectors Universe for Board Representation and Strategy Initiative

Olshan client Alta Fox Capital Management, in its first-ever activist campaign, reached an agreement with Collectors Universe Inc. pursuant to which Lorraine G. Bardeen was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors and as Chair of its newly-formed Strategy Committee, which is intended to explore business optimization opportunities and the expansion of technological capabilities. In addition to Ms. Bardeen’s appointment, during Alta Fox’s engagement with the company four new directors and a new Chairman of the Board were appointed. Andrew Freedman represented Alta Fox in connection with its investment in Collectors Universe.
