As a member of Olshan’s Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Group, Dean Oswald represents clients in high-profile bankruptcies across a range of industries, including biotechnology, healthcare and retail.
Dean assists creditor committees, debtors, trustees, equity holders, purchasers of distressed assets and individual creditors in complex Chapter 11 proceedings and related litigation. His practice covers a broad range of restructuring matters, including debtor-in-possession financing, Section 363 asset sales, plan confirmation issues and post-confirmation litigation. Dean regularly drafts first day motions, objections, and plan documents, appears in court, and advises clients on strategic litigation and settlement approaches.
Before joining Olshan, Dean was a bankruptcy associate at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C.
