Steve Wolosky, Kenneth Mantel and Dorothy Sluszka Represent Elliott Investment Management LP in Its Agreement with Genuine Parts Company to Strengthen Board

Reuters reported on the cooperation agreement between Olshan client Elliott Investment Management LP and automotive and industrial parts distributor Genuine Parts Company, which operates the NAPA Auto Parts stores and Motion Industries, that appoints two new independent directors to the company’s board: Courtney Carruthers, who previously served as president and CEO of TricorBraun, a B2B global packaging distributor, and in executive leadership roles at Grainger, and Matt Carey, who served as chief information officer at Home Depot. The Company also announced its entry into an information sharing agreement that will allow for an ongoing dialogue between Elliott and the Company.
