Olshan Assists in CGIC’s Comprehensive Investment in Polish Soccer Club

Olshan corporate partner Michael Neidell represented client Continental General Insurance Company (CGIC) in its strategic investment in Legia Warszawa, Poland’s premier soccer club. In the transaction, CGIC acquired a 40 percent stake in Legia Warszawa, with Michael Gorzynski, CGIC’s Executive Chairman, becoming chairman of the club’s supervisory board. CGIC’s capital infusion also includes a term loan facility to support ongoing operations.
