Olshan Client Land & Buildings Wins Board Seat at Aimco in First Universal Proxy Card Contest

The Deal (subscription required) and Nasdaq have reported that Olshan client Land & Buildings Investment Management, LLC was successful in getting its director nominee, James Sullivan, elected to the board of Apartment Investment & Management Co (“Aimco”) at the 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Land & Buildings’ victory is the first contested election taken to a vote following the SEC’s rule change on universal proxy card voting.
