Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP today announced that thirty-nine of the firm’s attorneys have been chosen for Super Lawyers® 2015 New York Metro lists. Twenty-six lawyers have been named to Super Lawyers and thirteen have been named to Rising Stars. While on average no greater than 3.75 percent of the total lawyers in each state are selected for the Super Lawyers lists, forty-five percent of Olshan’s lawyers have been selected for this honor overall.

The following Olshan attorneys have been named to the 2015 New York Metro Super Lawyers list: Steve Wolosky, Mitchell Stern, Kenneth Silverman, Kenneth Schlesinger, Samuel Ross, Nina Roket, Michael Neidell, Lori Marks-Esterman, Sheldon Lustigman, Andrew Lustigman, Jeremy King, Hyman Kindler, Thomas Kearns, Steven Gursky, Mary Grieco, Eric Goldberg, Warren Gleicher, Adam Friedman, Michael Fox, Thomas Fleming, Spencer Feldman, Kyle Bisceglie and Ron Berenblat.

“We’re very proud that thirty-nine of our lawyers have been selected for inclusion in this prestigious list by our peers,” said Thomas D. Kearns a partner in Olshan’s Real Estate Law Practice.  “Once again, Olshan’s representation on this list outpaces the average.  This is a testament to Olshan’s creative, efficient, superior client service serving as a unique alternative to the AmLaw 50, acknowledged by clients and peers alike,” he continued.

This is the latest in a series of honors and recognitions that Olshan has recently received, including the selection of five partners for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2016; selection as the only mid-sized firm in New York to have achieved a Tier 1 ranking by US News-Best Lawyers in Securities and Capital Markets, as well as a Tier 1 ranking in Real Estate in New York; and acknowledgement by Business Insider and The Wall Street Journal, in conjunction with FactSet SharkRepellent, of Olshan’s position as the leading Activist practice nationwide.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
