WSJ Reports on Sale of Loan at 119 West 40th St.
The Wall Street Journal reported that a $160 million commercial mortgage secured by a 22-story office tower at 119 West 40th Street was sold to the Blackstone Group earlier this year for the sale price of $165.7 million. The commercial property was purchased in 2007 by L.H. Charney Associates Inc., George Comfort & Sons Inc., and Fortis Property Group LLC for approximately $162 million.
