Based on the certified results, Olshan clients Sidus Investment Management and BLR Partners received overwhelming support from stockholders in their proxy campaign for change at Acacia Research Corporation. Not only were their director nominees, Clifford Press and Alfred V. Tobia Jr., elected to the Board by more than a 4:1 margin, stockholders voted down Acacia’s executive compensation and proposed stock incentive plan in accordance with Sidus and BLR’s recommendations.
