Kearns Handles New Condo Development in Astoria’s Kaufman Arts District

The New York Times reported on the joint venture between Kaufman Astoria Studios and Procida Companies, a developer based in the Bronx, on their plans for developing a seven-story condominium in the Kaufman Arts District section of Astoria, Queens. The Marx, named in tribute to its site where the Marx Brothers filmed their first feature-length films, will hold 33 units at 34-32 35th Street consisting of one to two-bedrooms. Olshan Real Estate partner Thomas Kearns handled the assemblage of the parcels comprsing the projecy, represented Kaufman in the joint venture agreement, and represented the venture on the construction loan.
