Kaufman Unveils Renovations at NoMad Portfolio in Real Estate Weekly

Firm News

Real Estate Weekly reported that The Kaufman Organization is launching a renovations project at its Madison Square Portfolio properties, acquired earlier this year from Extell. The buildings were part of the Ring Portfolio. The plans include a revamp of the four buildings into contemporary spaces in order to attract creative, technology and new media companies. Each lobby will have a unique design that blends with the NoMad neighborhood vibe and will feature glassed elevators revealing custom art or tenant-commissioned branded graffiti and interactive lobby installations. Olshan attorneys Thomas Kearns and Hyman Kindler represented Kaufman in the acquisition of the ground leases for the four properties and serve as general counsel for Kaufman for the project.
