Friedman and Koevary Co-Authored Article in the Bankruptcy Strategist

The Bankruptcy Strategist, an ALM newsletter, published an article, “Structured Dismissals and Application Of Non-Estate Proceeds” written by Adam Friedman and Jonathan Koevary. The article addresses two recent Third Circuit court rulings that approved the structured dismissal of a chapter 11 case and the distribution of non-estate proceeds through a settlement in another. These rulings demonstrate the courts’ growing acceptance to alternative favorable resolutions to chapter 11 cases when chapter 11 plans are not a viable option.
