Freedman Quoted in US News & World Report on the Continued Rise of Shareholder Activism

Andrew Freedman, Co-Head of the Shareholder Activism Practice, was quoted recently in a US News & World Report article discussing the surge and success of shareholder activists.  Freedman was quoted on Starboard’s historic contest at Darden Restaurants stating, “There's perhaps no better example of an activist success story than Starboard Value's proxy contest at Darden Restaurants…the new board has overseen a dramatic operational turnaround, implementing many of Starboard's strategic initiatives.”
