Client Fisher Brothers Provides Mezzanine Loan for Union Square Theatre Expansion

The Real Deal reported the multimillion dollar loan secured by Reading International, a Los Angeles based theater company, for the reconstruction of the Union Square Theater.  Olshan client Fisher Brothers provided $7.5 million of the total $57.5 million loan in mezzanine financing for the expansion. The Real Deal revealed that Reading will be rebranding the theater as “44 Union Square,” and the expansion will include a new office and retail complex. Olshan Real Estate partner Alexander Ferrini, who specializes in Construction Law, advised Fisher Brothers on the mezzanine loan.
