Feldman Quoted in Law360 Regarding 2016 Trends and Hurdles in Capital Markets

A December 22 Law360 article quoted Olshan Corporate Partner Spencer Feldman regarding the results of newer financing methods during 2016. The article focused on Rule 506(c) publicly-solicited private placements, Regulation A+ "baby" offerings and statutory Title III crowdfunding.  Addressing the equity crowdfunding experience to date, he opined "Crowdfunding for the right situation is certainly attractive, but the number of transactions has not been as significant, as there are other avenues to raise small amounts of capital.”  Speaking on Regulation A + offerings, Mr. Feldman added "Reg A+ is definitely going to turn out to be interesting, especially if some proposed regulations that are tinkering around now make it more usable for all companies.”  Spencer Feldman is a member of the Law360 Capital Markets Editorial Board.
