Ryan A. Partelow

Ryan advises clients in high-stakes disputes involving intellectual property, breach of contract, corporate governance, business torts and products liability. Ryan has experience handling every stage of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and discovery through dispositive motion practice, depositions, trial preparation and trial. Ryan works closely with clients to develop litigation strategies that align with their business objectives while managing legal and commercial risk. His practice includes managing complex offensive and defensive discovery, drafting and arguing motions, overseeing document collection and review, and coordinating litigation teams to efficiently resolve sophisticated disputes.

Before joining Olshan, Ryan was a litigation associate at an international law firm and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Cathy Seibel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

• Representing principal of garment manufacturer in billion dollar shareholder dispute in New York state court.
• Defending shareholder financial institution and affiliated board member in multi-million dollar dispute involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty in federal bankruptcy court.
• Part of jury trial team that successfully defended multi-million-dollar products liability dispute in Missouri state court.
• Member of legal team that negotiated with district attorney’s office to secure early release for incarcerated pro bono client.
