Steel Partners Holdings L.P. Completes Exchange Offer for Steel Excel Inc.

TheStreet.com reported that Olshan client Steel Partners Holdings L.P. has completed its offer to acquire the remaining shares of Steel Excel Inc., which operates energy and sports segments.  In the offer, stockholders of Steel Excel received, for each share tendered, 0.712 newly issued 6.0% Series A preferred units of Steel Partners Holdings L.P. that were listed on the New York Stock Exchange in connection with the transaction.  The Olshan team representing Steel Partners Holdings L.P. included Steve Wolosky, Michael Neidell, and Jason Saltsberg.
