Ross Represents Seller of Times Square Garage
The Daily News reported that Gary Barnett of Extell Development has closed on the purchase of a 52,000-square-foot parking garage at 251 W. 45th St. for $45.78 million. The property will be joined with the adjacent empty lot, already owned by Extell, to create another Times Square mega-tower. After purchasing air rights from several theaters in the neighborhood, Barnett could be building his tallest building to date, which may be developed as a hotel. Olshan Real Estate attorneys Samuel Ross and Hyman Kindler represented the seller, assisted by Partner Warren Gleicher, who handled the tax work.
