Activist Client Nanes Balkany Partners Reaches an Agreement with Canadian Company GasFrac Energy to Replace the Entire Board

The Calgary Herald and The Globe and Mail (subscription required) reported on the agreement that client Nanes Balkany reached with GasFrac Energy Services for a complete new board of directors at the Calgary-based fracking company. The new six-member board consists of two Nanes Balkany nominees, including Julien Balkany. The Olshan team that worked with Canadian counsel in representing Nanes Balkany in negotiating its agreement with GasFrac included Steve Wolosky and Andrew Freedman.
