The NY Times Reports on 601W’s Chicago Post Office Transformation

Firm News

The New York Times recently reported on Olshan client 601W Companies’ revitalization of the Old Chicago Main Post Office, a capacious Art Deco-style building which has sat vacant since 1997. This move is part of the growing trend of transforming old post office facilities around the country into modern office space. These old postal facilities are an excellent opportunity for companies seeking a central location with ample space. Amenities for the transformed Chicago building, which spans about three city blocks, will include a “Gatsby-esque” lounge, as well as a roomy gym and a university-style library. Olshan Tax & Personal Planning partner Warren Gleicher and counsel Shirlee Gordon represented 601W in this matter.
