$82 Million Bankruptcy Sale of East Side Marriott Hotel Covered by NYREJ

The Deal Pipeline and New York Real Estate Journal reported that Madison 92nd Street Associates LLC is ready to exit bankruptcy after a complex case that included the sale of its New York hotel, known as the Upper East Side Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The sale of the hotel to RLJ Lodging Acquisitions LLC for $82 million was approved by Bankruptcy court and closed June 1st. Adam H. Friedman, Eric L. Goldberg, Thomas D. Kearn and Fredrick J. Levy represented the debtor in the sale.
