Introduction to United States Business Law: From an International Perspective

On October 22, 2019, Olshan hosted a presentation for a 23-member delegation from the Shenzhen Bar Association.  The delegation of senior and partner-level lawyers represent Chinese clients in overseas investments and were interested in further developing a cross-border practice. The lively presentation focused on legal aspects involving US inbound investments and mid-market cross-border transactions. Topics included case studies involving our experience in private equity investments, real estate investments, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), focusing on unique issues that arise with Chinese investors.  Additional topics included regulatory concerns and business dispute resolution.
