Olshan Represents Loan Participant in Foreclosure of First Class Office Building

Olshan represented a longtime client in a joint venture agreement for a first class office building in a major western U.S. market after market conditions caused the property owner to default. Negotiations concerned the lender group's bidding strategy and the process for owning, stabilizing and selling the asset.

The Olshan attorneys initially involved in this transaction at the planning stage were real estate partner Thomas Kearns (who also led the deal team), tax partner K.C. Chiang and corporate partner Kenneth Silverman. The deal team also comprised corporate associate Robert Gagne and real estate associate Sari Kreutzer, with assistance from Olshan paralegals Vanessa Rodriguez and Lou Marasco.
