Jeremy King Quoted in Law360 on Insurance Ramifications of the Baltimore Bridge Collision

Chair of Olshan’s Insurance Coverage Practice Jeremy King was quoted in a Law360 article (subscription required) on the recent ship collision that destroyed Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge and the many claimants who will likely seek a range of insurance coverage options to make themselves whole after the disaster. "For something as big as this,” Jeremy said, “obviously, the ripples can be felt through a lot of areas of the local, state — frankly the national economy." He explained that coverage can depend on where a supplier or receiver of goods stands within a supply chain that was disrupted by the bridge collapse: “The policy language here is critical. The difference between contingent business interruption applying to a ‘direct’ supplier or receiver versus ‘any’ supplier receiver can make all the difference for the client.”
