Margo assists clients with transfer tax planning, estate planning, and trust structuring for individuals and their families. She works with individuals and their advisors to develop and implement sophisticated planning strategies designed to optimize the individual’s tax and non-tax objectives.
Margo represents Administrators, Executors, and Trustees in all aspects of the estate and trust administration process, including, the preparation of Surrogate’s Court filings, the marshaling and valuation of assets, the preparation of federal and state estate tax returns, and the sale and distribution of assets.
Margo also handles estate litigation, elder law, special needs planning, real estate and business transactions, as well as various matrimonial matters.
Margo earned her LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2012, her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2010 and her B.A, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1998.
Margo is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Florida, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining Olshan, Margo was an associate at Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C.
