Ellen Kon Gursky represents corporations, unincorporated businesses and individuals in state and local tax controversies, with a primary emphasis in planning and litigation.

Ellen began her career with the New York City Department of Finance, representing the City in drafting contracts, legal opinions and litigating audit disputes. Subsequent to her government service, she spent the majority of her career handling these issues for Fortune 500 corporations and high net worth individual taxpayers.  Prior to joining Olshan, Ellen worked at the major accounting firms, where her practice was most in demand.
