Olshan Corporate partner Kenneth Silverman and Litigation partner Kerrin Klein published an article in the Securities Regulation Law Journal, Spring 2026 ed. entitled “Quarterly Survey of SEC Rulemaking and Major Court Decisions.” The article reviews the SEC’s rulemaking activities and court decisions relating to federal securities laws from October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. Although rulemaking during the quarter was light as the SEC proposed no new rules and approved two final rules addressing technical amendments, noteworthy SEC policy initiatives and federal statutory changes affecting SEC compliance obligations of foreign issuers occurred in fourth quarter are reviewed in the article.
