Olshan Client and Founder of PulteGroup William J. Pulte Reaches Agreement for Board Representation at PulteGroup

The Wall Street Journal and other media sources reported on an agreement reached between Olshan client William J. Pulte and PulteGroup, Inc. pursuant to which PulteGroup agreed to appoint Mr. Pulte’s grandson (also named William J. Pulte) to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The agreement was the culmination of a public campaign launched by Mr. Pulte, the founder and largest shareholder of PulteGroup, in April 2016 seeking to change PulteGroup’s strategic direction. On the same day Mr. Pulte and PulteGroup reached the agreement, PulteGroup announced that it had appointed a new CEO, effective immediately. Steve Wolosky and Ryan P. Nebel represented Mr. Pulte in connection with his campaign at PulteGroup.
