Koevary Quoted in a Law360 Article on Settlement between Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital

Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring attorney Jonathan Koevary was quoted in a Law360 article on the recent settlement between Lehman Brothers Inc. and Barclays Capital Inc. The trustee for Lehman Brothers Inc. has agreed to pay nearly $1.3 billion to resolve litigation with Barclays Capital Inc. over the sale of the investment bank's brokerage business. The settlement, which must be approved by a bankruptcy judge, resolves all outstanding legal claims between LBI and Barclays and would end six years of litigation between the parties.  Koevary noted “With nearly $600 million in distributions held up and nothing seeming to go the trustee’s way, the writing was more or less on the wall and to save $80 million for the estate to resolve their issues with Barclays at this late stage strikes me as fair.”
