Freedman Quoted in USA Today and Wall Street Journal on 2015 Activist Landscape

Olshan Partner Andrew Freedman was quoted in USA Today and in the Wall Street Journal on the activist outlook for 2015. In USA Today, Andy discusses the large number of players in the field compared to the small number of companies being targeted. In the Wall Street Journal, Andy points out that “Companies that are being well advised are assuming there is already a corporate activist in their stock.” Both articles cite Starboard Value’s recent takeover of the entire Board at Darden Restaurants. Freedman was on the team that represented Starboard in the historic campaign.
