Olshan Client Engaged Capital Elects All Three Nominees and Ousts Chairman in Successful Proxy Contest at Rent-A-Center

Bloomberg, The Dallas Morning News and other media outlets reported on the convincing election victory by Olshan client, Engaged Capital, in its activist campaign at Rent-A-Center, Inc.  All three of Engaged Capital’s director nominees, Jeffrey J. Brown, Mitchell E. Fadel and Christopher B. Hetrick, were overwhelmingly elected to Rent-A-Center’s Board to replace three long-standing incumbents, including the Chairman of the Board. Steve Wolosky and Ryan Nebel represented Engaged Capital in connection with its investment and successful proxy contest at Rent-A-Center.
