Nina Roket is counsel to major office landlords in the mid-town and downtown New York markets. Ms. Roket is also counsel to landlords in leasing retail space in the New York metropolitan area, Las Vegas and Miami to major retail tenants including national retailers, big box retailers, restaurants, sports clubs and banks. Ms. Roket has also represented office landlords in leasing office space to internet service providers and major telecommunications carriers.
Ms. Roket is also counsel to borrowers in commercial financing projects.
Ms. Roket has been counsel to sellers and purchasers of many of the highest profile New York properties, as well as high profile national assets.
Additionally, Ms. Roket serves as a member of WX, New York Women Executives in Real Estate, an invitation only association of executive-level women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry in New York.
Ms. Roket has also been selected as one of Real Estate New York's Women of Influence for 2008 by Real Estate New York Magazine.
REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
• Representation of the owner of a downtown New York City office building
in its leasing program, including a lease of 80,000 square feet to
Millennium High School.
• Representation of the owner of two midtown Madison Avenue office
buildings in its leasing program, including a lease of ground floor
retail space to JP Morgan Chase Bank, a lease of ground floor retail
space to Staples, a lease of 60,000 square feet to a New York City law
firm and a lease of 135,000 square feet to a magazine publisher.
• Representation of a New York based real estate company with nationwide
real estate holdings in mortgage and mezzanine financings totaling over
$500,000,000.
• Representation of a restaurant franchisee in its leasing projects in the
New York metropolitan area.
• Represented the purchaser in the acquisition of Miracle Mile Shops in
the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada (formerly
known as Desert Passage in the Aladdin Hotel and Casino).
• Representation of the owner of a Las Vegas shopping center in its
leasing program, including leases to national retailers such as H&M,
Guess, Victoria's Secret and Urban Outfitters.
• Represented the landlord in a lease in Newark, New Jersey, with ACS
State & Local Solutions, Inc, provider of EZpass services for the State
of New Jersey.
• Lease in a midtown luxury building to a high-end sports club.
• Lease for a celebrated New York City chef for his debut restaurant.
