With over 50 years experience in real estate and tax matters, Mr. Friedland has counseled and represented clients in the purchase and sale of many of the premier properties in New York City as well as other parts of the country, and has represented and advised numerous private companies in corporate, tax, and estate planning strategies. He is also a general or managing partner of many real estate entities.
Mr. Friedland is a member of the Board of Directors of Apple Bank for Savings and Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.
Lawrence N. Friedland joined the Olshan firm in late 2001 as counsel. He was formerly a managing partner of Hoffinger Friedland Dobrish & Stern.

• Purchase of the Delmonico Hotel in New York City.
• Purchase, lease renegotiation and renovation of the Lever Brothers building.
• Negotiation of a 200 year lease with respect to a portion of the land located under Crown Plaza Hotel, New York, NY.
• Purchase of the fee position at One Penn Plaza.
• Purchase of the land and buildings located at 405, 430, 450 and 750 Park Avenue.
• Purchase and co-op conversion of 605, 715, 969 and 1155 Park Avenue.
