Tax & Personal Planning
Olshan's Tax and Personal Planning Group provides skilled and sophisticated tax and financial planning services to corporations, partnerships/llcs and other business entities, high net worth individuals, families and fiduciaries of complex estates and trusts. We counsel clients on a wide variety of federal, state and local tax matters with precision and depth.
Working closely with lawyers in our other practice areas, our Tax Group helps interpret, structure and negotiate client transactions to achieve the economic goals of our clients. In addition, we draft the tax disclosure portions of offering documents and draft and render any required tax opinions for the transactions.
We help assure the transfer of our clients' wealth to their beneficiaries in the most tax-efficient manner possible. Our attorneys particularly excel at assisting family-owned businesses, helping clients transfer their business interests in such a way as to assure continuity and minimize taxes.
