Nina Roket concentrates on commercial real estate law with an emphasis in leasing, conveyancing and finance transactions.

Nina advises clients across the U.S. in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, sales, acquisitions and mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity financings.

Nina is landlord's counsel at numerous office buildings in Midtown and Downtown New York City.  Nina also manages complex retail leasing transaction projects on behalf of numerous developers and owners at significant, high profile retail sites across the U.S., including New York, Miami Beach, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills and Atlantic City.

Nina has a specialty in restaurant transactions and is counsel to high-profile restaurateurs in bringing complex projects to fruition, advising them and providing resources on matters ranging from negotiating leases to acting as business counsel.

Nina serves as a member of WX, New York Women Executives in Real Estate, an invitation-only association of executive-level women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry in New York.  

Additionally, Nina is a co-administrative partner at Olshan, chair of the firm's Hiring Committee and founder and chair of the Women’s Committee, which serves as a networking, business development and mentoring platform for the firm’s women lawyers and their clients and colleagues.

  • Represent Columbus Turnstyle LLC in the leasing, financing and development of TurnStyle, an underground marketplace in the 59th Street Columbus Circle concourse, including negotiating a master lease with the MTA, leases with individual retailers, financing and joint venture agreements, construction agreements and advertising agreements.
  • Represented the owner of 8 Times Square in a lease to Foot Locker for its prime Times Square location.
  • Represent Helm Equities in the acquisition and financing and current leasing and development of 325,000 square foot mega-development in the Design District in Miami.
  • Represented the owner of a building on West 125th Street in a lease to Bed Bath and Beyond.
  • Represented the owner of Herald Center in a lease to H&M for its largest store worldwide.
  • Represented the owner of various sites on Lincoln Road, Miami in retail leases to various national and local retailers and restaurateurs.
  • Represented buyer of a partial interest in a 72-year leasehold, valued at over $17 million, on the retail and medical suites at 2012-2018 Broadway, near Lincoln Center.
  • Represent the owner of a downtown New York City office building in a lease of approximately 240,000 square feet to an agency of the State of New York.
  • Represent the owner and operator of a casino and hotel in Atlantic City, NJ in a lease to a national, themed restaurant and bar owner and operator, including the leasing of outdoor seating along the Boardwalk and Beach Area.
  • Represent a restaurant franchisee in its leasing projects in the New York metropolitan area.
  • Represented a New York-based real estate company in the acquisition of development sites in the New York metropolitan area and in the leasing of those sites to Trader Joe’s, Walgreen’s and TD Bank.
  • Represented the owner of a building in Memphis, TN in a lease of the entire building (625,000 square feet) to Trane Inc.
  • Represented the owner of a building in Tampa, FL in a lease of 180,000 square feet to OSI Restaurant Partners, the parent of Outback Steakhouse, for its headquarters.
  • Represented Steak ‘n Shake in a lease for its first New York location.
  • Represented the owner of a building in Miami Beach, FL in a lease to H&M for its flagship store in Miami.
  • Represented a New York-based real estate company with nationwide real estate holdings in mortgage and mezzanine financings totaling over $500 million.
  • Represented a New York-based real estate company in the purchase, out of foreclosure, and financing of multi-family property in Annapolis, MD.
  • Represented William Telepan, a celebrated New York City chef, in a lease for his debut restaurant, Telepan on the Upper West Side, and subsequently for his Telepan Local in TriBeCa.
  • Represented the owner of a downtown New York City office building in a lease of approximately 100,000 square feet to Millennium High School.
  • Represented the owner of two midtown Madison Avenue office buildings in a lease of ground floor retail space to JP Morgan Chase Bank, a lease of ground floor retail space to Staples, a lease of 60,000 square feet to a New York City law firm and a lease of 135,000 square feet to a magazine publisher.
  • Represented the owner of a NYC midtown luxury building in a lease to the Core Club, a high-end spa, fitness club and restaurant.
  • Represented the purchaser in the acquisition of Miracle Mile Shops in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV (formerly known as Desert Passage in the Aladdin Hotel and Casino).
  • Represented the owner of a Las Vegas shopping center in its leasing program, including leases to national retailers such as H&M, Guess, Victoria's Secret and Urban Outfitters.
  • Represented the owner of a building in Newark, NJ in a lease of approximately 50,000 square feet to ACS State & Local Solutions, Inc., provider of EZpass services for the State of New Jersey.
