Mr. Friedman is a partner in the Business Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group. He regularly represents creditors, debtors, investors and other parties in corporate and real estate restructurings and Chapter 11 cases. Adam regularly represents bondholders, hedge funds, private equity funds and borrowers in all aspects of restructured lending, distressed sale and reorganization transactions, debtor-in-possession financings and related matters. Adam has substantial experience in both out-of-court and in-court restructuring matters. He also counsels parties with respect to fiduciary duties, director and officer liability, fraudulent conveyance and similar issues related to corporate transactions and insolvency proceedings.

Mr. Friedman has been repeatedly named to the New York Super Lawyers list, a Thomson Reuters lawyer rating service, since 2009. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and is on the Board of Editors of The Bankruptcy Strategist, a leading bankruptcy law publication.

• Representation of Pre-Petition Debenture Holders and Tranche B DIP Lenders in Global Capacity Group, Inc.

• Representation of Step One Credit Agreement Lenders in Tribune Company chapter 11 proceedings

• Represented a joint venture between Invesco Real Estate and the Kaufman Organization in connection with its acquisition of 100-104 Fifth Avenue from the bankruptcy estate of Rock US Holdings Inc.

• Representation of Convertible Noteholders in Vaso Active Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

• Representation of public gaming company with negotiations and out of court restructuring of bond debt.

• Represented investors in pre-packaged Chapter 11 case of Isologen, Inc. which restructured approximately $90 million of debts and issued exempt "equity for debt" securities under the Plan.

• Representation of Chapter 11 Plan Funders in Impart, Inc.

• Represented purchaser of a $60 million real estate loan against hotel debtor in bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings.

• Representation of Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Vermillion, Inc.

• Representation of Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Nova Biosource Fuels, Inc., et al.

• Representation of Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Accentia Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., et al.

• Representation of DIP lender and purchaser of assets in Retail Pro, Inc.
